Fever 3.1.1

This application provides a comprehensive overview of body temperature, medication administration, and other relevant events during an illness.

It is important to note that neither the iPhone/iPad nor this app can measure body temperature directly.

During the winter months, it is common to experience colds, which may sometimes be accompanied by a fever. Besides colds, various other illnesses also present with fever, requiring prompt attention. Children are particularly prone to febrile illnesses and often benefit from close monitoring.

Keeping an accurate record of fever progression is valuable when consulting a healthcare professional. Accurate documentation of fever patterns and associated symptoms can facilitate faster diagnosis and more effective treatment. Additionally, maintaining a detailed fever diary becomes especially useful when multiple family members are ill simultaneously.

The app allows users to intuitively record and monitor:

• Body temperature and measurement locations (mouth, ear, arm, forehead, rectal)
• Medications administered and dosages (e.g., Paracetamol, 1 tablet)
• Additional symptoms and events (e.g., headaches, vomiting)
• Personal notes

Important notes:

• This program is intended as an auxiliary tool; it does not replace professional medical advice. A doctor should always be consulted in case of fever.
• The app does not have the capability to measure body temperature directly. Methods such as breathing into the microphone for two minutes are neither feasible nor accurate for temperature measurement.
